The Sega 32X is a short-lived add-on for the Sega Mega Drive released in 1994. Meant to be an entry-level "32-bit console," the 32X lasted for only about a year and a half due to most developers choosing to work on the Mega Drive's true successor: the Sega Saturn. Only 40 games were released for the system, though quite a few were shoot-em-ups
